I found the coolest thing for our Christmas cards this year, puzzle greeting cards. I know that my kids would love putting together puzzles of any kind, and they would love the idea of our friends and family putting together a puzzle with them in it.

I sent the company that I had found a picture from our summer vacation to the beach, and they would take it and make it into a picture puzzle. I had made sure to have them include Happy Holidays across the top, and our names at the bottom.

When they arrived, I let the kids take one apart and put it back together to see if they could do it. I knew that a lot of the families that we sent this to had kids that were the same age as mine and they would love putting these puzzle greeting cards together as well. The day after we sent them out, I got two phone calls from friends telling us how cool our picture puzzle was and how much fun they had putting it together.

My brother called the following week, and said that his kids had taken it apart over and over again to see which of the kids could put it together the fastest. I thought that that was funny; I told him that he was welcome for me keeping his kids busy from five hundred miles away.
