It was such a long and dusty drive going home.  But, I always look forward to this annual family event because it’s the only time of the year that our family is united.  My 4 brothers had called me yesterday to inform me that they are already in our parent’s home.  They are all married.  I am the only girl in the family and the youngest too.  Ironically, I am the only one with a pickup truck.  My brothers have cars.  I do not mind at all because their children would then ask me to drive them around.

Before I left the perimeters of the city and hit that long stretch of uninhabited road, I dropped by the auto repair shop which was known to be the best in 4×4 transmission repair.  I wanted to make that nothing would go wrong while on that road since there was an area there that you cannot get a signal on your mobile phone and GPS did not work there as well.

When I had problem before with my truck, my boyfriend called the shop and they had repaired. They were the best transmission repair shop.  Well, they had thoroughly checked my truck and they assured me that I would be able to be back in one piece after the long, long journey.  There were no problems anymore after they had repaired my truck a year ago.
