I have always wanted to ask my grandfather what he did with all his old coin collections but I am afraid to find out that he actually sold them. I have not seen them in many years and he used to have them all displayed before my grandmother passed away. She would always complain about how some people sell silver but my grandfather bought it.

Selling silver was really popular about ten years ago and then when prices went down, people just did not think they could make any profit in it and I think that the coin collections all headed to the attics, spare bedrooms and basements. I have seen some dealers who are selling silver at antique shops and swap meets but not too many.

If my grandfather does in fact still have the collections of silver I wonder if he knows that if he were to sell silver coins today, at the rate that silver is being bought he could make quite a bit of money. All I ever see in jewelry store windows is how they are willing to buy gold from you but no one ever mentions that they will buy silver too. Maybe someday I will get up the nerve to talk to my grandfather about it.

For two years I have been trying to create my own custom web design to sell my homemade walking sticks on. I have bought every book possible and have followed every type of tip and trick that is suggested on the internet but it just has never looked professional enough to put on the web. I made the mistake of letting some of my friends know that I have been working on the custom web design and they ask me all the time about how it is coming along.

I have decided to give up and stop lying to my friends who I always tell that it will be finished any day now and hire a professional web design company to get the look that I am going for. I think that two years is long enough to waste on something that should already be done and making me some money. I guess that my grandfather was right when he told me that you have to spend money to make money and I am planning on doing just that with a professional web design company.

Now, when my friends ask me how my site is coming along, I will just tell them that it will be going live sometime in the next few months and it will not be a stretch of the truth anymore.

I have been receiving some office supply catalogs in the mail recently and started looking through them. I thought that maybe they were too good to be true since most of the prices were about thirty percent higher than what we are currently paying in our office with our office supplies company. I wanted to make sure that I was right and pulled up some of our most recent statements from our current office supplies company and the proof was right in front of me.

I have never even considered switching to any other office supply providers until now. I wonder how long we have been paying way too much money for these items. I know that we get the office supply catalogs all the time and for some reason I decided to just look over one when I was eating lunch at my desk. I am sure glad that I did, with the amount of paper and ink this office goes through, we were going to start saving thousands with the new more affordable office supplies company, whichever one we chose to go with. In fact, in one of the catalogs, they also sold office furniture at really low prices, we may have to switch to them for that too.

My parents were telling me that they had just invested in a new internet company. I guess that the company sells poweredge servers at discounted prices and also offers dell repair to commercial businesses. They had not invested a lot of money, but had already seen some returns on the amount that they had.

The part of the internet company that I was interested in, was the dell repair part. I know that every agent in my office has a dell computer, printer and also laptops. If I can partner with this company for all my repairs then I should be able to save some money and use a company my parents are involved with at the same time.

I had my mother make a few phone calls to the people she invested with and ask them if it was possible for her daughter to set up an agreement with the dell repair division of the business. They handled everything and all I did was sign my name. They have also extended a twenty percent discount on the poweredge servers that they sell since I am a client of theirs now. I do not need any servers at this time, but it is nice to know that the offer is there if I need it.
